GENERAL NOTES:

75' slope overlooking the Santa Ana River channel. Massive LZ behind slope. Lift is quite turbulent at times due to trees at the bottom of the slope but it's quite flyable. This slope is part of the Harbor Soaring Society home field and there is a frequency board at the end of Canyon Dr. near the information kiosk. Please use it!

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Starting point: Junction of Brookhurst St. & Hamilton Ave. in Huntington Beach: Go E over the river for .5 miles to Canyon Dr. and turn LEFT (Hamilton Ave becomes Victoria St E. of river)).
Alternate starting point: Junction of Harbor Blvd. and Wilson St. in Costa Mesa: Go W on Wilson St. for 1.3 mi. to Canyon Dr. and turn RIGHT.
Continued from both starting points: Go N on Canyon Dr. until it dead-ends at Fairview Park.
